NFL and NBA behind MLB (2 stars)
The NFL site isn't the worst of the 3 major sports–but it is close. It's barely a step above the NBA's app but far behind the MLB. The NFL could learn a lot from the MLB atbat app. The MLB app is totally user friendly, always runs at a high speed, quickly brings up your favorite team, and intelligently brings you all the news, notes, stats, highlights, and games at the click of a button. Used to love it but now, just ehhh (2 stars)
I used to love this app, at least it got me through my bathroom breaks. But recently I'm unable to open any articles with out the app freezing. Am I the only one not getting scoring notifications? My alert settings in the app, and in the system notification controls, are all as they should be, but I still get nothing. What could be more important for an NFL app? It fails at its primary job. Two or three years ago it worked flawlessly. Then I guess they hired someone else to write the app – probably got a good deal on it.
