Another cash-grabbing "freemium" game (2 stars)
Rather than letting you earn powerups, they make you buy them for "credits", and they make earning "credits" painfully slow, unless you cheat (by paying them money.) So unless you pay them, and pay them, and pay them, forever, the game is permanently hobbled to make it very slow and torturous to get powerups, so the game is harder and less fun.

Don't want to sound critical, because this is a good game, but it isn't perfect.
First of all, fix the performance. It's poor. There are multiple frame drops, the device gets remarkably hot, and it kills battery faster than any game I've ever played. This is on both my iPhone 6S and my iPad Pro. These devices are powerful. This is not a demanding game. This should not happen. Fix it.

Although the action and physics of the core pinball gameplay is already impressively well-executed and authentic-feeling, the additional artsy twist on the pinball mechanic is very inventive and levels it up a great deal. Love the idea that your 4th ball in play will leave a black trail, eventually obscuring the path of the ball. It really ups the ante nicely.
